Privacy Policy

DentCloud Companion (the “App”) · Effective June 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DentCloud Companion handles information. The App is operated by DentCloud Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”). The App is a companion tool for dental professionals who use the DentCloud practice-management platform. It signs you in to your existing DentCloud account and displays your own clinic’s information to you.

Information we process

• Account & sign-in. You log in with your DentCloud account credentials. These are used to authenticate you to the DentCloud service at api.dentcloud.app. We do not sign you in with, or collect, any third-party social accounts.
• Clinic & practice data. Once signed in, the App retrieves and displays your clinic’s business information from DentCloud — such as income and revenue summaries, payment breakdowns, patient and appointment counts, treatment summaries, and tax estimates. Where individual patient names appear, they may be shown in masked form.
• Clinic connection requests. If you submit a request to add or connect a clinic, we collect the information you enter in that form: the clinic name, a contact person’s name, a clinic phone number, your role at the clinic (owner, associate, or part-time), and an optional reported monthly dentist-fee (DF) figure. We use this only to follow up with you about connecting your clinic to DentCloud.
• Information stored only on your device. Earnings or clinic figures you track yourself for your own reference are saved locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

How your information is used

Information is used solely to authenticate you and to display your own clinic’s data inside the App. We do not use your information for advertising or marketing, and the App contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Where your data lives

Your clinic data is part of your account within the DentCloud platform and is served from DentCloud’s systems over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your login session token is stored securely on your device using the operating system’s secure keystore (iOS Keychain). To make the App responsive, some retrieved data may be cached locally on your device; this cache stays on the device and is cleared when you sign out or remove the App.

Sharing & selling

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the service, and only as necessary. When you submit a clinic connection request, the information in that form is transmitted to Google (Google Sheets via Google Apps Script), which acts as our service provider for receiving and processing those requests. Aside from such service providers, we do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to operate the DentCloud service you already use. The App’s access to your clinic data is governed by your existing agreement with DentCloud.

Data retention & your rights

The App itself stores only your session token and a local data cache, both of which are removed when you sign out or delete the App. Your underlying account and clinic records are managed within the DentCloud platform; to access, correct, or delete that data, or to close your account, contact us using the details below.

Children

The App is intended for dental professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
